Spray 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Step 2: Puree bananas in blender (1-1/4 cups). Cream margarine with sugar until light and fluffy in large bowl.
Step 3: Beat in eggs and bananas. Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Step 4: Add dry ingredients alternately in thirds with buttermilk, blending well after each addition. Stir in nuts.
Step 5: Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until skewer inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a rack 10 minutes. Turn out onto rack to complete cooling.
